This is a cute and creative idea for a Save the Date.

“After ten years together, Jen + Kevin got engaged in Paris – a location they subtly acknowledged in a nod to Albert Lamorisse’s short film The Red Balloon when designing their save the date announcement. Wanting to treat their wedding as a big party more so than a traditional event, each guest received a deflated, red balloon tied to a letterpress printed card reading: “Hello! Please inflate the balloon.” Once inflated, the piece reveals all relevant information and sets the desired tone with humor and playfulness.”

I like the concept and design scheme of the two Australian designers that make up Mooza.

How fun would it be to use these signs on your wedding reception bathroom doors?

Their signs are hand crafted from an acrylic base, and then topped with unique papers & sealed off with a thick resin coating (this creates an effect of a ceramic/tile).

Picture this as part of decor at a child’s party.

You just attach them individually to any flat surface with – reusable adhesive (that they supply). They are very light. If you wanted to apply them permanently
you would just use double sided mounting tape.

Every time I see a gift basket that was given to someone I always think I could have made it for half the price and chosen some better things to put inside.

Which is why these elegant gift baskets created by D-Tales Event Designers caught my eye. They are unique, and not your generic basket which clear cellophane bags suffocate. Really inspiring for a DIY project, don’t you think?
